Bayard Hollingsworth

Bayard Hollingsworth is a Managing Director at Pivot >, where he draws on more than 25 years of experience leading distressed and high-growth companies through operational and financial transformation. Bayard has served as President, Chief Restructuring Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and investment banker across a broad range of industries including logistics, home improvement, consumer products, technology, manufacturing, and education services.

Bayard has led many restructuring and advisory engagements, with recent mandates including: CRO of a $50M regional trucking company (Chapter 11), Interim CFO of a post- SPAC 3D printing company, financial advisor to a $120M national distributor of education environments, and Interim CFO to a PE-backed outdoor products firm undergoing leadership transition and working capital stabilization.

Prior to joining Pivot >, Bayard was a Managing Director at Phoenix Management and CFO of Tatum (now Randstad). Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Beaulieu Group, US Floors, ABN AMRO, and Commerzbank.

Bayard holds an MBA from Erasmus University in the Netherlands and a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is active in local chapters of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Turnaround Management Association (former Board member), SFNet, Southeastern Bankruptcy Law Institute, and Associates for Corporate Growth. He has achieved the TMA’s designation as a Certified Turnaround Professional as well as a Series 79 FINRA licensed investment banking representative.

Pivot > originated from a conversation between friends, Lance Miller and Peter Elkin, both veterans of restructuring and turnaround industries, and former company leaders. Over dinner, they envisioned a best-in-class value proposition, which eventually became Pivot >, attracting like-minded individuals who shared their mission and industry distinctions.
