Eric Thor joins Pivot > as a Senior Director, where he brings clients deep expertise across agribusiness finance, land strategy, and water resource management.
Eric specializes in helping agricultural stakeholders navigate complex operational, financial, and asset management challenges. His expertise includes agricultural lending, permanent crop operations, water resource strategy, land acquisitions and dispositions, and stakeholder coordination across lenders, investors, operators, and ownership groups.
Prior to joining Pivot >, Eric served as Director of Business Affairs for Maricopa Orchards, one of California’s largest farming enterprises, where he supported more than $1 billion in agricultural assets and an $800 million financing portfolio. In that role, he led land acquisition and disposition initiatives, managed water supply and infrastructure projects, evaluated alternative land-use opportunities, and worked closely with ownership, lenders, and legal teams to support long-term operational performance and value preservation.
