Jonah joins Pivot > as Managing Director, bringing more than two decades of experience as an advisor, board member, private equity sponsor, and operating executive. He has founded, led, and invested in companies across specialty finance, alternative energy, gaming, technology, and real estate, successfully guiding both growth and distressed situations.
He served more than a decade as an Independent Director at Banc of California (NYSE: BANC), helping drive its expansion from $1B to $36B in assets through its 2023 merger with PacWest, including service as Chair of the Enterprise Risk Committee.
In the private sector, Jonah currently serves on several advisory boards and previously was Special Advisor, EVP, and COO at Cartiga, co-founded and sold Fast A/R Funding/Continental Business Credit and Timco CNG, and led the recapitalization of National Capital Management through its acquisition by Portfolio Recovery Group (NASDAQ: PRAA).
Earlier, he co-founded ITU Ventures, investing in early-stage university-based technologies, and began his career at SunAmerica Investments in commercial real estate lending.
Since 2010, Jonah has served as Chair and President of the Tourette Association of America Southern California Chapter. He graduated summa cum laude from Tulane University and completed director and executive programs at UCLA and HarvardX.
